Corrections Policy

We correct errors swiftly and note what changed. Every correction is logged against the original story. We do not silently edit published material.

[01]How to Submit a Correction

Write to us at contact@thelegalchronicles.in with the subject line CORRECTION: [story title].

Please include the following in your message:

01The URL of the story you are flagging
02The specific claim or figure you believe is incorrect
03The correct information and, where possible, a primary source (docket number, judgment URL, or official release)

[02]Turnaround Time

We aim to acknowledge correction requests within one business day and publish verified corrections within two business days of receipt.

For urgent corrections involving ongoing litigation or imminent hearings, please mark your email URGENT and we will prioritise accordingly.

[03]What We Log

Every accepted correction is documented with:

01The nature of the error and the corrected text

02The date and time the correction was published

03Whether the correction changes the headline or substantive framing of the story

04Whether any related data point, citation, or statutory reference has been amended
