Krishnan Vinod Chandran

Justice K.V. Chandran was born on 25 April 1963 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He worked at the State Bank of Travancore before completing his law degree and enrolling as an advocate in 1991. He served as Special Government Pleader for Taxes in Kerala from 2007 to 2011.

He was elevated as Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court on 8 November 2011 and served as Chief Justice of the Patna High Court from 29 March 2023 before his Supreme Court elevation on 16 January 2025, becoming the 16th judge from Kerala to reach the apex court.
